WEDDING INSPIRATION

I’ve been following wedding blogs for quite some time now, they are a great source for wedding inspiration. I think it’s been over 10 years. I remember when Polka Dot Bride first launched, it seems like a life time ago, what a source of inspiration it still is.

The market has grown, we now have Ivory Tribe, Hello May & The lane just to name a few. One of my all time favourites is Style Me Pretty, it inspired me to shoot film(I don’t shoot film anymore), it inspired me to love details, it inspired me to be a better photographer.

So I’ve been thinking, as Wedding photographers our role goes beyond showing up on the wedding day, taking photos and then putting it all together. We could be a fashion designer, a psychologist (yes!), an event planner, a time line manager, someone to reach out to before the wedding day when it all seems so overwhelming with so many loose ends to tie up.  The list goes on.

So this is where the idea was born from, to create a new section on my website/blog called “Wedding Inspiration”. A section where you can come to for bits and pieces of information with some pretty pictures for further inspiration.
