Bridesmaids business ideas is a great read if you’re looking for help when gathering your squad. Who’s organising the champagne? It’s a valid question I say!

For some it’s a no brainer, for others it’s a more complicated process, bridesmaids. Who’s in and who’s out. Some prefer a “I don’t want to have any responsibilities on your wedding day”approach, others are all in. It’s a tough one, you don’t want to offend anyone, you don’t want anyone to feel left out. I think if you’re open about the decision making process, you can’t go wrong. Un-less of course your dealing with some who has a strong personality. Maybe you need to re-consider. Either way it’s time to chose, good luck, choose wisely!bridesmaids business melbourne bridesmaid

One of the first thoughts of a glowing bride-to-be is of the people they want to surround them on their day. As the planning begins a bride and groom essentially build their own little Tribe of their nearest and dearest to form a bridal party – filled with a bevy of bridesmaids and a gaggle of groomsmen that will stand alongside them as they prepare for the new adventure that is marriage.bridesmaid business

But what if you are conflicted about having bridal party? Are they absolutely a necessity? While there are absolutely no rules – think your day, your way – we investigate the pros and cons of inviting your best buddies to stand alongside you on your wedding day.bridesmaid business

Yay – bridal parties for the win!

  • You have a posse of people that will be there to attend to your needs every step of the way. Be it attending dress fittings, lending a shoulder to cry on when your mother is driving you up the wall, or being able to delegate the little jobs that will aid you in being as cool as a cucumber on your day. Your bridal party can be there every step of the way.

  • Your bridal shower and hens party celebration will always be a soiree to remember, but without the help of those significant others, you might notice the absence of a group of friends that can pull these events off for you. Be it sending invitations, or bringing you a Berocca the morning after, your supporting crew should know your ideal way to celebrate the lead-up to your wedding and become the perfect party planners, leaving you to be the star of the show.
  • Having a bridal brigade is a nice way of acknowledging those special people in your life who have been with you through the good times and sometimes the really shitty times. It’s not often we get to show them how much they mean to us, so by asking them to form part of your bridal party is a public and lovely declaration that you’re besties for life!bridesmaids relaxed and candid wedding in the country in long grass
  • From listening to you stress out, to giving advice and sending ideas on things that you might never would have thought to look for, brilliant bridesmaids are indispensable.
  •  Your wedding day itself, with or without a bridal party, will be incredible. However, a special band of besties there while you get ready, make your way to your ceremony, and for all of the festivities thereafter – is unforgettable.

Nay – keep it simple.

  • All the women who are independent – throw your hands up at me! You might be the kind of independent lady that really doesn’t need to have a posse of princesses chasing around after them during the planning process, or on the actual day.
  • Hello, budget blues. Bridal parties can also mean dipping into the funds that little bit further. From outfits to group gifts, play the numbers game and consider the financial impact.
  • Sometimes that pesky party can cause more than they’re worth – think many and varied opinions and the chance of high school drama… no thanks.
  • There are other ways you can acknowledge the important people in your life than making them stand in a dress they haven’t chosen. Whether it be allocating them a role such as being a witness to your signing of the legal documentation, having them make the wedding cake, or acknowledging them in speeches, you can play to your friends and family’s strengths and get creative in being inclusive.
  •  For some, the pressure of being in a bridal party is all too much. Some brides decide against a supporting cast for reasons including wanting guests to have fun at the wedding, without obligation or responsibility.

So there you have it, I listed a few other good reads below that will hopefully help you in your decision making. Best of luck XX0yarra valley wedding photography
