Mark and Suzy sent me a postcard from Hawaii saying “Thank you for being so much more than our photographer”. What a compliment. You guys rock! Mark even mentioned to me that they forfeited their deposit with another photographer once they found out I was available. Wowwww! What a humbling experience.
Now I’m just going to give you a little bit of background info on Mark and Suzy’s story.
Mark and Suzy met whilst in school at Preshil in Kew, Melbourne. So these guys have been together for a while.I always think it’s so sweet when a couple have been together since school days. I don’t know what it is but it seems so much more serious, not to say that every wedding is not serious but I’m sure you know what I mean.
Their principal ( a lovely man) at the time was even at the wedding and he got up and said a few words. He spoke so warmly of Mark and Suzy. Mark’s parents were told that Mark (still at school) was not allowed to use the principal’s office to run his business from! The whole crowd roared with laughter, already such an entrepreneur. It’s amazing for me to see a such a long lasting relationship formed with your school principal. Who keeps in touch with their principal?
I am going to wrap it up here so you can get into the tasty nuggets below. Mark, Suzy and myself have formed a friendship that was created through doing what I love to do and also from not just being a wedding photographer. Mark and I are going shooting very soon and there ain’t no Ducks involved!
