The boom gates come down as I am heading to Crystalss place to do the pre ceremony shots. My mind is racing a thousand miles as it does during a wedding, I’m switched on and ready to observe and then bang the radio kicks in. It’s 11.00am on the 11th day of the 11th month, 2011. A minute silence for all of those diggers who served . With the boom gate bell clanging away and the Glen Waverley service a blur in front of my face, I sat and thought about all this country is built on and those who have given their time and lives.
