Having a wedding on Tuesday was something I had not done before. Leaving home early was on the cards as the traffic in Melbourne, especially on the Eastern freeway is just crazy! Someone extended the Eastern freeway with Eastlink but the problem is, it comes to a bottle neck at Hoddle Street and Alexandra Parade. What is normally a 20-30 minute drive was 1 hour and 45 minutes! I hear they are in the process of inventing cars that fly, reminds me of “The Jetsons”
Edward and Sigrid’s wedding day kicked off at Crown Promenade Hotel and we all ended up at “The Italian” for the reception. You know I have never had anyone buy me Subway during the getting ready stages. Well, Edward and Sigrid did – they organised Subway for everyone including one of those chocolate chip cookies. I hammered a foot long and then smashed the cookie! Food is energy, wedding photographers need energy – otherwise, the creativity starts to fade at the twelfth hour.
Edward and Sigrid live in Adelaide and flew in their friends and family from around the globe including themselves. They are about to re-locate to the United States, San Fransisco! We’re up for re-locating too guys if you want to bring us along!
I just wanted to say finally, thanks for the journey guys and you know what? It’s the little things that make a huge difference. The Subway experience touched me in so many ways ;) Safe travels.
